How It All Started
Pimam was born during a Techstars Startup Weekend in June 2023. Our founder, Thierry Sudan, pitched the idea of a gamified pet care app that would make daily pet care tasks more engaging and rewarding.
The concept resonated strongly with the judges and participants, many of whom were pet owners struggling with consistency in their pet care routines. The team formed during the weekend went on to develop the first prototype of Pimam.
The name "Pimam" combines "Pet" with "Imam" (guide in Arabic), reflecting our mission to guide pet owners through the rewarding journey of pet care.

Our Startup Journey
June 2023
Pimam concept is born during Techstars Startup Weekend. Thierry Sudan and the initial team develop the first prototype and win the competition.
Late 2023
Initial funding secured. The team expands and develops the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) with focus on cats and dogs. First private beta testing begins with local pet owners.
January 2024
Pimam is accepted into the incubator program at Technopole de Niort in France. The team moves into their first office space and begins working full-time on the project.
April 2024
Pimam launches publicly on app stores! The initial version supports 5 pet types and introduces the gamification system. The team continues to grow, adding key roles in development and marketing.
